Formal notice against the IRCC
Montreal, March 2, 2022 - The Quebec Association of Immigration Lawyers (AQAADI), together with several applicants for permanent residency in Canada, filed a demand letter on February 23, 2022 requesting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to regularize the processing and finalization of applications for permanent residency in the Quebec Skilled Worker category that are currently subject to unreasonable delays. A 15-day response time was announced, subject to legal proceedings before the Federal Court.
