To assist in the efficient resolution of applications for leave and judicial review brought under section 72 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Federal Court has developed procedures to facilitate resolution discussions. between the parties in appropriate cases. These procedures have been in effect nationwide since October 4, 2021 after being piloted in Toronto.

Me Boulakia, a Toronto lawyer, has extensive experience in Federal Court proceedings and settlement discussions. The training aims to explain this particular procedure, the deadlines, the strategies in order to better equip us in this way.
